Open Trails Quest

  • Wintergreen Studios 90 Wintergreen Lane South Frontenac, ON Canada (map)
Hiking is not escapism; it’s realism. The people who choose to spend time outdoors are not running away from anything; we are returning to where we belong.
— Jennifer Pharr Davis, American long distance hiker

Open Trails Quest: A Week of Exploration & Discovery

Join us for a week-long adventure at Wintergreen Studios, where you can explore our breathtaking trails at your own pace—or with a guide (see guided hikes schedule below)! With 10 scenic trails winding through meadows, forests, granite outcrops, wetlands, ponds, and lakes, every step brings a new discovery.

🔍 The Challenge: Each trail hides a special letter. Collect all 10 letters, unscramble the word (hint: it’s a species found at Wintergreen), and you'll be entered to win a free weekend stay in one of our cozy woodland cabins!

🌲 Come Any Day, Stay as Long as You Like
Whether you're a solo adventurer, a couple seeking a peaceful retreat, or a family looking for an outdoor challenge, this event is for you. Hike one trail or all ten—it's up to you! It’s possible to hike them all in a day if you start early!

Breathe in the fresh air, connect with nature, and experience the magic of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere. So lace up your boots, blaze the trails, and conquer the quest!
