Our commitment to Indigenization, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (I-EDI) includes:

Respect: We believe in treating every individual with respect, dignity, and fairness. We recognize and value the unique contributions and perspectives that each person brings.

Learning and Growth: We encourage ongoing education and training for our staff, volunteers, and community to continually foster a more inclusive culture, which includes understanding and respective Indigenous perspectives and histories.

Honouring the Land: We commit to honouring the land on which we operate and recognizing the significance of the land to different communities. We strive to be responsible to the land and promote sustainable practices that protect and preserve our environment. 

Indigenization: We are committed to the process of Indigenization, which involves creating space for and integrating Indigenous knowledge, practices, and ways of knowing into our organization and programs, as well as actively supporting Indigenous self-determination and cultural preservation. 

Anti-Discrimination: We actively work to recognize and eliminate all forms of discrimination and bias, including those related to race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, ability, and more.

Community Engagement: We engage with our communities to understand their needs and actively seek to include different voices and perspectives in our decision-making processes.

Accessibility: We strive to make our programs, services, and physical spaces accessible to all, including individuals with disabilities, to ensure everyone can participate fully.
