Forest Bathing

  • Wintergreen Studios 90 Wintergreen Lane South Frontenac, ON Canada (map)
A walk through the woods probably won’t change what’s wrong, but it can change how we respond to it.
— Heidi Barr. Author, mother, spouse, gardener, & wellness coach

Spend a slow summer morning outdoors and mark the turning of the season with a guided forest bathing experience at Wintergreen Studios.

Certified Forest Bathing Guide Cherianne Cybulskie will lead a gentle, guided forest bathing experience designed to help you slow down and reconnect with nature through your senses. Rather than hiking a distance or reaching a destination, forest bathing invites you to wander at an easy pace, engaging with the forest through sight, sound, touch, and curiosity. Along the way, participants are offered simple invitations for exploration, with optional moments to share reflections in a relaxed and supportive group setting.

The experience concludes with us gathering at the Lodge for a delicious seasonal lunch prepared in the Wintergreen Studios kitchen.

Whether you’re looking to try something new, spend intentional time outdoors, or gather in community to honour the Summer Solstice, this morning offers a welcoming space to arrive just as you are.

What is Forest Bathing? Forest bathing, also known as Shinrin-yoku, began in Japan as a practice of immersing oneself in the atmosphere of the forest. It offers space to pause, breathe, and experience the natural world with renewed attention.
